Why do rift threads get locked?

I was just noticing every thread expect 2 that have to do with rift get locked which got me thinking....

1. Bunch of threads about rift on a site that mines well be renamed WoWchampion looks bad for WoW so mods are locking?
2. Does blizzard support mmochampion in anyway?
3. If so is blizzard threatened by rift? I don't see how becasue I doubt even a small fraction of WoWs players will be preordering/playing...is rift really picking up this much steam, or maybe blizzard really is losing alot of players over the last few months?

Sure you could say the extra threads are just spaming the forum but honestly 80% are not spam and about different topics. Rift is the flavor of the month so people make threads. Condensing everything into one thread is dumb.

I'd say its a conspiracy.

They all contain the same information, contain something that has been posted numerous times, or are spam about Rift.
