An Fianna of Aggramar - 25man Raiding

In ancient Ireland, Fianna were independant warrior bands who lived apart from society in the forest. Living in a closely-knit community based on mutual trust, they became a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield and were as such a much sought-after ally for surrounding kings. Much like these warrior bands of old, we as a guild aim to gather our strength from a foundation of kinsmanship on which our guild is founded.

After being founded in mid-Wrath by a group of friends, who to this day remain the core of An Fianna, the guild quickly rose to the challenge and competed with the server’s top guilds. When Cataclysm hit, our roster took a hit due to people leaving the game which resulted in a somewhat slow start. We are however quickly regaining our strength and are currently looking for just a couple of additions to our roster. A couple of missing links, if you will. We are currently mostly interested in ranged dps of either of the following classes:

Elemental Shaman
Hunter
Warlock
Boomkin

As well as either of the following healing classes:

Holy/Disc Priest
Resto Shaman
Resto Druid

Please note that our current recruitment is NOT limited to these classes only, we are always on the lookout for exceptional applicants. If you feel that you would in fact qualify as an exceptional applicant, please do not hesitate to make an application and we will see what we can do.

As a means of safeguarding our well-established community as well as maintaining a certain standard of raiding, we have established a few criteria, albeit very basic, that an applicant must take into consideration when applying to An Fianna.

You are comfortable to communicate in English in both written text and spoken word.
You know your class and spec inside out. This applies to your off-spec as well.
You show up to raids prepared. This includes but is not limited to flasks, potions, reagents and most importantly being up-to-date on the boss-mechanics at hand.
You are able to attend at least 3 out of our 4 weekly raids on an average basis. Our raiding days are Monday to Thursday, with invites going out at 19.45 and the raid ending at or around 23.00.

The focal point of your application will be to demonstrate to us that you are an asset to our guild, both community-wise and raiding-wise. This means that not only your character is optimally gemmed, enchanted, reforged and specced, but also that you write an application in a decent fashion. This does not mean every spelling or grammatical error will be highlighted, but this does mean that leet-speak is frowned upon. If you beforehand feel that you can not or will not conform to either of the aforementioned points, please do not bother to apply. These are the things our guild holds dearest and we firmly believe that anyone that does not conform to this will not be a valuable member of our community. As Aristotle said: “Quality is not an act, it is a habit.”
