Leveling Inscription

I'm thinking about dropping my skinning to powerlevel inscription. how much would it cost if i were to buy all the mats needed? I know realm differ in prices, i'm just kinda lookin for a ballpark cost for 1-525

[TL;DR - skip to big bold figure.]

To level inscription according to the wow-professions guide (I always use theirs as they're typically the most efficient) you require the following:

• 110 Alabaster-giving herbs @ 1g a peacebloom = 110g
• 70 Dusky-giving herbs @ 1g a bruiseweed = 70g
• 170 Golden-giving herbs @ 2g a liferoot = 340g
• 170 Emerald-giving herbs @ 1.5g a khadgar's whisker = 255g
• 240 Violet-giving herbs @ 8g a bruiseweed = 1920g
• 120 Silvery-giving herbs @ 2g a sorrowmoss = 240g
• 180 Nether-giving herbs @ 4g a felweed = 720g
• 500 Azure-giving herbs @ 2.5g a adders tongue = 1250g
• 600 Ashen-giving herbs @ 4.5g a whiptail = 2700g

Assuming those figures include the trade ups / procs for the inferno inks required at lvl500 upwards, then you'll just need to add in these costs:

• 156 volatile life @ 5g = 780g
• 12 volatile fire @ 10g = 120g
• 30 volatile water @ 7.5g = 225g

Then add in the costs for the misc trade materials bought from vendors, say 100g and you end up with your total cost: 8830g, or 9000g for a good clean number.

It goes without saying these are the prices from my current server and your costs may differ. But at least this should give you a ballpark figure like you requested.
