Mediocrity is a decently progressed PvE guild on Blackrock US Horde. We start raiding @ 7pm Pacific / Server Time until 11pm, Monday - Thursday.

We are one of the oldest PvE Blackrock created guilds on the server(going 6+ years strong), having gotten server firsts since the Molten Core days, and have been going ever since as a high realm ranked guild. We use a dkp loot system, so no need to kiss up to your guild officers... if you attend raids, you'll get dkp, and you can spend it however you want. We also use a standby system where you will accumulate dkp even if the raid is full, provided you are not-afk, and willing to sub in at a moments notice.

What are the requirements to joining?
- Maturity (our median age is mid-late 20's)
- High attendance (Monday-Thur raid availability)
- Patience and determination
- Willingness to accept criticism and direction (sorry, we theorycraft a lot in the guild).
- Willingness to not whine like a 13yo angsty teenager when decisions are made against you.
- Willingness to spend your own gold on repairs(we do offer guildbank repairs to fulltime raiders) and consumables (20-40 fully potted wipes is not cheap.. luckily, you can do 25 dailies now, so don't let me see you whine b/c as my own members will attest, whining about gold = frownie faces for realz).
- Willingness to sit out raids and not complain (this is a big one). Actually, just not complain at all.. the guild's been around 5+ years... we must be doing something right, so sit back and enjoy the ride :/


More Information:

High attendance(90%+) is key for obtaining loot and having a fulltime raid slot. Being continuously late or just not showing up in general, will have you out the door faster than you came in. Showing up online and on time with all raid materials ready to go. Staying in a BG, heroic, Arena, w/e while invites are going out will cause an instant gkick. PvP you can do during non-raid hours.

Being a team player is fundamental for progression. If you are a loot whore, than this is the wrong place for you. While we do use a DKP system to keep loot distribution fair, loot council sometimes/rarely does apply if it helps the raid as a whole.(example: Legendary items) Don’t come in QQing because officers needed to do what’s necessary. Your mindset should be progression and raiding. Purples come 2nd.

Communications is something we always stress about. You MUST have a working mic. and ventrillo installed on your computer. Don't expect to be getting any invites by making the excuse of your soundcard or mic being broken. Players are expected to communicate with their teammates. Failure to do so and you'll be sat out or removed


The amt of time you spend on your application is about double the time we will spend reading your app. So if you spend 3 min on an app, don't expect us to actually finish reading it before posting deny. We don’t like people who can’t even put 10minutes into their apps. This shows us you have no patience and overall don’t give a crap.

There are no restrictions on trials for getting loot. It's a fair DKP system! Could definitely use some holy paladins and a warlock! Maybe a good feral dps?
