Origin

Hallowed are the Ori! Ehum, yeah, 'nough about that. Origin is a social raiding guild with a raiding core. We are a small guild who prefer quality over quantity, so we have high expectations for people who join to follow rules. We are mostly a relaxed guild otherwise, no high pressure to be top realm raiders, of course we do play good, but we are not playing to be the best of the best. When playing we prefer those who help each other out other then being competitive on how good you do compared to others. (okay, glating do happen some times :-P but mostly joke gloating )

Raid times are flexible at times depending on how many people ask.

We are located on the EU server of Dragonblight.

What can you expect of us?

Well, friendliness, open mind, a fair trial period, proper talks in whispers instead of public humiliation should something wrong happen. Good raiders, helpful people and generally fun chatter on vent, who is open for everyone at all times.(encouraged even to joining vent. The more the merrier).

Trail
Everyone applying for Origin as a Raider will be put through a trail period for between 2-4 weeks. This is the time for you to prove yourself. To join then to go afk for 2 weeks is an instant kick unless you had a very, very good reason to. You are expected to show on time to raids, and to listen to vent and do your best in raids. We know people can screw up, so we wont be too harsh on it. Just take your time and do your best.

We are currently working on clearing Blackwing Decent, but before that we have done all of Wrath Content normal\hard. Icc 11\12 hc. Normal was cleared at the 10% buff.
We raid usually during weekends from 1500-1800ish. BH is usually set for thursdays if we have TB.

We expect all our raiders to show in time, and we use a EPGP loot system to allow fair giving of loot.

Requirements

What we're looking for:
-Social people! Yes, we raid and we usually raid well, but we also want people to be social! Come on Ventrilo, have a chat. Being in a guild is not always only raiding or dungeons. Believe me, a lot of weird talks happen on vent, which can cause loads of laughs.

- People with Dedication. When you join our guild we usually accept you with an open mind, even if we have heard bad things from others. But we do want a certain amount of dedication. Like using your main to pug a raid instead of playing with the guild, that is a big nono.

-People with Patience. Sometimes people screw up. Sometimes people screw up a lot. Sometimes people have a bad day. It happens to everyone, it is just how people are. So if we wipe one time, or 50 times, we do expect people to still continue (raid repairs is covered mostly by GB) Mood might not be high, but we will still try. Flaming others and name calling is unacceptable.

- Friendliness! Everyone like friendly people. Everyone like to have someone maybe willing to pull them through a few low level dungeons, or help with something. It is always very nice. So if you want help from someone, asking nicely usually work fine.

- Good raiders. This is an important point. if applying for a raider, we do expect you to be able to know the tactics of the raids we are heading into. If you apply with still bad gear, we do expect you to gear up, gem and enchant, use flasks and food to do your best always in the raid. That includes knowing your class fully. We should not have to tell you to interrupt something you are fighting. if you know something is coming, and you have an interrupt, then use it.

In particular, we are currently recruiting the following classes:

- Hunters
- Mages (very high need)
- Rogus
- Druids (all specs)
- Non-Paladin healers
- Extra Tanks


Those applying as raiders are expected to be active and available on ventrilo for discussion on performance and have gear and knowledge of tactics for relevant raids.

Exceptional raiders are encouraged to apply none the less of class limit.

If you are applying as a raider, please see if your class is still open for playing, if your class is closed you may still apply as we do take those of exceptional skill level for any class at all times. Social members can always join no matter what class. All we ask there is friendliness.
