New GPU

So im looking to upgrade my GPU or to an GTS450 or to a 5770 and i was wonderig if this PSU will do :GIGABYTE Superb P450P-C2, 550W, 12CM FAN, PASIV PFC, 2xPCIe, 6xSATA, OPP/ OVP/ OCP/ OTP, ATX2.3 12V+If i would benefit more from the ATI since I run and AMD.Thanks in advance.

yes your PSU will handle either, i'd go for the 5770 though but ive never read much into how well the gts450 does

The computer is i5 760 (2.8 Ghz), 8 gigs of ram (ddr1300), gts 450 (1 gig)
I run WoW on ultra and usually have about 60-75 fps in org while busy, and mind you this is with everything I have set to the highest settings.

You will prolly get a little less, WoW is a CPU hog that doesn't require much of a GPU. As the 955 is weaker then the i5 760

What is your budget and location? You can get a GTX 460 768mb version for just over $100 after MIR. That card is about 20% faster than a 5770 and 30% faster than gts 450. If not, then get a 5770, but gts 450 should be your last choice out of the 3 cards if you are looking for the best performance, which is why the gts 450 is the cheapest.

The GTS450 is less expensive than the 5770 and performs exactly the same. This is a no-brainer, IMO.

However, if you have the budget, for $179 ($159 after rebate) you can get yourself an HD6850 or as nwo said, the 768MB version of the GTX 460 for a little over $100.

As far as the GTS450, the one that I would personally get is the Asus version w/ DirectCU (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-393-_-Product). Overclocked pretty well with Asus' DirectCU cooler, which is really one of the best manufacturer coolers on the market.

If you're gonna spend $110 (after MIR) you should definitely get a GTX 460 768mb version instead for the same price (after MIR):

GTX 460 768mb version will outperform any gts 450, regardless of how much you overclock it.

Ah, OK then. Well, if the 5770 is about the same price, you should probably get that instead since it is slightly faster than a gts 450.
