There is a Memory Express near by place so thats where I'd get it from, building on a medium budget $2600 or less. Though you can order from them online.

    Came up with:
3 Year IPR System Replacement Plan ($294.99)
    1 x Corsair - Dominator DHX+ 6GB DDR3 1600MHz CL8 Triple Channel Kit (3 x 2GB) $129.99
    1 x Western Digital - 1TB Caviar Black 7200rpm SATA II w/ 32MB Cache $89.99
    1 x Asus - DRW-24B1LT 24x DVD-RW Drive, SATA w/ Lightscribe, Black, OEM $29.99
    1 x Assemble - Assemble Hardware + Load my O/S $70.00 (I'm just lazy)
    1 x Corsair - Gaming Series GS 800W Power Supply $129.99
    1 x Microsoft - Windows 7 Home Premium Full Retail Box $219.99
    1 x Intel - Core™ i7-950 Processor 3.06GHz w/ 8MB Cache $279.99
    1 x Cooler Master - HAF X Tower Case $189.99
    1 x Asus - Sabertooth X58 w/ Triple DDR3 1866, 7.1 Audio, Gigabit Lan, 1394, PCI-E, Quad CrossFireX / SLI $214.99
    2 x eVGA - GeForce GTX 560 Ti FPB 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E w/ Dual DVI, HDMI $259.99
    1 x OCZ - Vertex 2 SATA II 3.5in Solid State Drive, 120GB $229.99

    Total cost is about $2400

Looks like it could fit your needs aswell, and if your budget allows you could upgrade a lot of the parts.

(Not to be a thread-jack, But I could also use some advice if any of the selected parts could be upgraded with something thats better/equal while cheaper/the same.)
That build is horrible. My 1000$ build is better than that for gaming.

Elaborate as opposed to posting useless crap please. We understand you're all superior in your choice of parts on a budget, but no one wants to know who or what you had to do to get the parts at a discount price.

Also, with proper ventilation and a good case, (I didn't really look at his build too closely) SLI will always edge out a single of the same card. SLI may be a pain, but it'll push performance, which is what he wants.

I'd advice you to start off by overclocking the CPU.
Getting Win7 x64 if you really insist on it.
Possibly upgrading the GPU to a 560ti or a 6850.

    .... And done.

And I'd rather die than want another Razer-product after the fiasco of the Naga.
    Funny how taste acts, huh?
    Also. Yay 1000th post. ._.
Nah, but seriously. G110 > all other non-mechanical.

Sorry to sidetrack this conversation, but what naga fiasco? I use it and I love it.

Here's my elaboration because I didn't have the time to do it earlier.
    CPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-072-_-Product
Mobo - Still undecided and can't link, but either the Asus P8p67 Pro or the Gigabyte version of the p67
    Ram - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145297
    GPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-416-_-Product Yes I'm flashing it
    HDD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-533-_-Product
    PSU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...9006&Tpk=750tx
Case - Not 100% sure yet, but this is one I'm thinking of http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...pk=antec%20902
    Aftermarket fan - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835608018

Overclocking the processor is a joke, even a moron can do it. There are tons of guides on the interwebs if you just take the time to find them. I'm only going 4.5ghz, but you can do much more easily with my fan. Flashing the GPU to a 6970 for increased performance. Yeah, I win.

EDIT : Also, an SSD if you have the extra cash for your OS and whatnot.

That heatsink is a waste if you're only going to ~4.5, spend $25 and get the hyper 212+.

PS. I don't think the ram will fit under the noctua.

It's never a waste to keep it as cool as possible.

Sorry, but your royally pissed away your money purchasing that computer. So many things on there are a waste of money...

He wants it as a status/bragging thing, and I think he got a decent system for that.

At: Demon, I wanted a good gaming computer, I didn't want anything that didn't seem promising.
At: Ayako I want a good and stable gaming computer, being able to play games in max and in 3D, I don't want anything of what you said there to be honest.

Take my build then. It's cheaper and quite pro.

Cheaper, and weaker in every single aspect (maybe par the CPU cooling, dunno about the one he got is and cba to google reviews right now).
Do you really think that guy like OP who clearly wants it to be top notch wants to settle with some budget stuff like the build you recommended?

Personally I would prefer your build yes, and I'd also recommend something like that for anyone asking for some decent priced but powerful build. That's not what OP wanted though.

Yet he settled for cheap Kingston RAM, Crappy "wannabe" liquid cooling, and a non K SKU Processor.
