Haven't played it in awhile, but planning to get that to 30 (50 being max) before Guild Wars 2. Found this nice guilde how to get to 50 http://massively.joystiq.com/tag/the-road-to-50

Edit: For these that don't know you can earn some titles and items from guild wars 1 "achievements" that transfer to guild wars 2. You can do these even after launch of Guild Wars 2 so you aren't in hurry if you want these and these are mostly just cosmetic.
