I have to say - the music from the bulk of all the silent hill games is INSANELY creepy.
The 3rd game came WITH A FRIGGEN CD!
My ex used to play it - I mean some were actually songs that were good but ... half the disc was "noise" and "ambient" sounds from the game....

You're all mentioning music from scary films / games or music with scary videos. I doubt listening to that music in the dark, disassociating it with whatever it's from, is going to creep you out.
Scott Walker's The Drift is the creepiest album I've heard.
