Quick Overclocking Question

So my motherboard has a Easy-Oc switch on it to get about 20-30% faster cpu speed: it ups the bus speed by 40mhz and the HT link by 400mhz turning my standard AMD Phenom X2 II 555 Black Edition 3.2ghz into a 3.84ghz.

My question is should i revert that change by hitting the switch on my motherboard and instead change my Cpu multiplier to x18 instead of 16. Will it give me any significant performance boost and will i have to adjust voltages at all.

Note: I have Cpu-z and pretty much all the common overclocking utilities handy. I also have it unlocked to 3 cores at 3.8ghz. (Last Core was a dud)

Generally speaking overclocking through the fsb instead of multiplier is better since it boosts the speed of most of the system as opposed to simply cpu. Although you could play around with both fsb and multiplier if you feel like pushing better number; voltages most likely won't be the same regardless.
