why you cant "quit" wow

I work in a creative profession. All my hobbies that aren't related to work are also creative. WoW doesn't require creativity to enjoy, it's my necessary "Brain Off" activity.

I've tried dozens of other MMO's...just none of them as great as WoW (in my opinion).

I play due to being taken out of the real world for that moment when i have no worries, not I have to do just do as I please and no one knows who I am or anything, might seem emo but its not, my life isn't that bad and figure its better than smoking crack.

yep pretty much. i live in indiana and every day i die a little on the inside because of how incredibly boring this awful state is.
the winter only amplifies how terrible living here is.

Edit: oh, and last year i quit for a while, but came back because I was tired of sitting around my house during winter break doing literally nothing.
I'm not addicted, just nothing else to do lol.
