Looking for decent, cheap gaming laptop.

Would this be a good choice? (To run with anything other than raiding)

Good choice at that price? Definitely not. Will it be fine for everything except raiding? Yes, but don't expect to go any higher than medium settings because of that budget graphics card.

    ><

Im still browsing atm, and a noob to laptop settings.

What about this laptop, if added 100$ on to upgrade it to an actual video card?

That graphics card (ATI 550v) is slightly faster than the previous one, nothing too significant or fast though.

Point is, you can get better with that much $$$.

Here are two really good gaming laptops (in your price range) I stumbled upon on newegg:

Acer Aspire AS5742G-6600 Notebook Intel Core i5 480M(2.66GHz) 15.6" 4GB Memory 500GB HDD 5400rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M

ASUS G Series G72GX-RBBX05 NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo P8700(2.53GHz) 17.3" 6GB DDR2 Memory 500GB HDD DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M

Oh damn, thanks. The Asus 6600 looks really nice.

I've been using Game-debate.com to base how well it could run and that laptop runs a bit better than the 730$ one.

It has a high end graphics card, but it is a few generations old. Also, it has an Intel core 2 duo, which is also a pretty outdated CPU. The high end graphics card is what makes this laptop pretty decent even though it is only a DX 10 card.

If you are looking for strictly the best WoW performance, you should go with the Acer laptop I suggested. It has a better CPU, and a slightly slower graphics card which will should give you better WoW performance and graphics since it is a DX11 card. However, if you plan on playing a variety of games, then that Asus laptop is probably going to be slightly better because even though it has a slightly worse CPU, it has a faster graphics card which matters a lot in games other than WoW.

Bah, that was my bad. I meant to say the Acer one looked really good.

Ill prolly be loading WoW on it, maybe attempt SC2. And load up Red Alert 2 on it aswell. I don't play alot of PC games, just alot of time with one.
