    Graphics Temp too High?

So I am playing the original crysis and randomly my screen stutters. It happens sporatically but notably during the final boss fight. The temp on my CPU is 44ish, my GPU 65 was the max I saw. Kinda wondering if its just the game or if my GPU is having a fit.
    My System
    Ivy Bridge 3570k OC 4.0
    ASRock Z77 Extreme4
    Saphire 290
    Mushkin Enhanced Blackline Frostbyte DDR3 1600 8GB

No, that's not high at all. Most if not all cards nowadays can withstand up to 80c before damage may occur. 65 is perfectly fine for a 5770. That's what my GTX 465 runs at unless I'm playing a very demanding game.

Why do you post when you don't have even the slighest clue?

    @ OP
60C is nothing really, 90C or more is something that you should worry about. My GPU goes to about 70C if Im playing crysis or rift and my friends radeon is often at 100C, and his GPU has not fried yet.. :P

Next put your ambient temperatures in there as well. If your GPU was running at 65C and your room was 8C I would be a bit concerned.

But I'll assume your room is the standard 22C, in which case your GPU temps are fine, actually quite low to be honest.

It doesn't really matter if the ambient is -20 or +22, GPU can still take just the same heat.
