One Eyed Rat is seeking quality active members for high end raiding in Cataclysm.

In Wrath of the Lich King, despite having joined the party quite late, we cleared ICC and RS with ICC 10 and 25 Glory achievements, plus Bane of the Fallen King.

Open raiding positions (Updated 2nd February 2011):

Death Knight: Closed

Hunter: 1 x MM/BM.

Raid spots are allocated on a combination of guild rank and skill. Guild ranks are allocated on skill and activity and are constantly re-evaluated. Loot system is based on EPGP.

A bit about us:

One Eyed Rat is a Horde raiding guild that popped into existence on 14th January 2010 on Jaedenar EU.

The principal reason it came into being was that it was proving next to impossible to find a guild that started raiding at the later times more suited to people with family lives and work: Not a single Horde guild in the top 200 EU raiding guilds had later start times.

The aim of the guild is high end raiding, with a number of our core members hailing from server number one guilds (The GM having lead one such guild previously for over a year). We prefer to focus on 25 man raiding, as we find these more fun than 10 man raids (which we also run from time to time).

It is to be said: With this content of tier hitting us, we decided to split into 2x 10 man groups, not with one being ALOT better than the other, but on progression bosses, we go with the CORE of the guild --> You can whisper me in-game to hear more about this system, but if we accept you, you will have a thread you can read up on, that goes deeper down in this subject.

We like to raid with people around our own skill levels, and not people who are going to hold us back. We only like to take committed people into raids - people that are fully prepared with gems, enchants, consumables, and have read up on encounters, etc.

As we only raid four days a week, for three hours each, we like to keep the guild raider numbers fairly low, with a small core of raiders who are expected to be available for at least three of the raids, ideally, all of them. This way, we can deliver regular raiding to our members along with much faster gearing and progression for the guild (we don’t want to constantly be taking different sets of people into new bosses, or gearing 4 people who raid a night here, a night there when we could gear one four times faster who is always around for us to get the benefit of the gear from).

If you’re a committed, active and skilled raider, we’d be delighted to hear from you. More information can be found at oer.enjin.com
