List of soloable raid bosses (at 85)

I've solo'ed Ouru on my rogue and ret pally and Twin Emps with relative ease on my ret pally. Not sure how solo'ing C'thun would be possible due to some of the P2 mechanics. A friend of mine with a slightly better geared ret pally recently solo'ed Kael'thas Sunstrider in The Eye. I'm going to try it soon ^_^

C'thun can be soloed by pulling Ouro to his room :P When you go into the stomach you will get ported to Ouro very quickly so C'thun won't reset, this of course leads to you having a very short time to actually deal damage to the tentacles in the stomach but it is doable.

For whatever reason I'm having a hard enough time even getting past the entry dragons, let alone get to her. Any tips?

Hmm well I was prot (having souldrinker 397) and all that jazz,just straight dpsing (lol) them down as prot nothing else,below 20% you can proc victory rush with devastate so you get some extra healing.

I thought onyxia p2 will be the hard part,but hardest part was getting her to 60% cause she hurts with her wing buffet+cleave+breath,and souldrinker dont heal for that much,p2 was just killing big adds as they come,you get victory rush from killing them so just heal yourself with that,whelps are non issue,just tank them below onyxia non stop and just use rend + tclap so it hits them + her,and shockwave on cd since it also hits her even tho shes in air,also use heroic throw on cd,p2 lasts for like 10 mins or so(not sure tho wasnt counting),and p3 is breeze,she doesnt do wing buffet anymore so once you get her to 20% you can just spam devastate + victory rush and its game over.I oneshot her and I even dced mid p2 for whatever reason.

Could you also mention what kinda gear you have?

Lfr tier tank chest,410 tier tank gloves, t12 heroic tier helm shoulders and legs,crafted 397 bracers,shannox heroic belt,397 vp boots,sinestra necklace i think,391 firestone throwing wep,heroic magmaw trinket and heroic valiona trinket,397 valor point ring and 391 firelands rep ring,heroic baleroc shield and 397 souldrinker,ill post armory when I logoff as tank spec since fury is my main spec.

Here is stuff you will need if you want to solo anything as protection warrior.

Glyphs: glyph of victory rush
Enchants: mending on weapon
Talents: Feld dressing, Blood craze, Impending victory
Food/flask: lavascale minestrone - and flask of steelskin ,other option would be elixir of the master: and prismatic elixir - this will be good for example for sapphiron in naxxramas:

Now stuff you don't have to have but which help a lot.
Souldrinker and 2 pieces of t13 bonus.

Gameplay - any boss with add(s) is cake, any boss without add is impossible unless:

a) he hits like a girl
b) you can bring him below 20% reasonably fast
c) you can get some other mobs to him and use them as "ads"

As for ads if they are level 80+ you get "real" victory rush which will heal you for around 70-80k, if you try to do lower level boss, for example al'ar in tempest keep, then simply get add below 20% and spam devastate until victory rush will proc, this one will heal you for about 20k which is still good enough.

When you use enraged regeneration always use it with last stand, usually you get from 50% to 100 this way.
Keep thunderclap and demoralizing shout up at all times. If terrain or boss mechanics allows it, use heroic leap - jump away from boss, heal yourself through bandages, you rarely get full duration but every tick is couple thousands and it ads up.

Stuff I soloed:

full aq20, aq40 up to twins, mc, karazhan, maghteridon, 5/6 ssc - vash you are next , 3/4 tk (anybody managed to kill kael in protection? I know you can in fury but prot so far not having "luck"), did 13/15 naxx - only left is gluth - can't kill that bitch as dps is not high enough and thaddius, only hard bosses from naxx is patchwerk and instructor - on both you have to bring 10-20 ads and slaughter those for victory rush procs. Anyway tried also mount hyjal but razz winterchill said no way you not getting through me, anybody killed him in prot? Again I have seen fury do it but not protection and my fury gear is not that good atm.

Bwl can be done, I am getting really close to killing razorgore (had 5 eggs left last time) so he will die soon and rest should be easy, black temple did akama, supremus and teron, nanjentus prot dps is not high enough (can be done in fury though if you are night elf for shadowmeld trick), bloodboil - no way for me to kill him, ulduar - xt-002 and his Tympanic Tantrum - Damages everybody for 10% of their maximum hit points every 1 second, for 8 seconds = no way. Sunwell 1st boss cant be done coz of game mechanics. Sartharion is too easy, malygos did not even try and toc tried and failed badly.
icecrown will try marrogar should be doable and so should be lady deathwhisper.

If anybody have any tips for winterchill or kaelthas I would love to hear them coz I would love either mount or rest of hyjal to clear.
if you need any help with stuff I cleared feel free to ask, most of it is not hard, my ilvl is around 380, only couple pieces from LFR and rest is 5 man stuff so no fancy gear.

Mega update : Marrowgar heroic down,1shot actually rofl,didnt think Id manage enrage but I did,next is lady D heroic.

Update: Lady d is nuts,adds spawn way faster than normal mode,so I can barely dps her inbetween waves,I managed to get her shield to like 900k out of 3 million but I just get overrun with skeleton melee adds by then.

Killed Rotface aswell,easy boss,will try him heroic next time,got festergut to 50% or so before debuff killed me(insta kills regardless of anything when it gets to 10),aka boss is not soloable.

Well with some NR and such, I'm now getting Lady Vashj to phase 3 a few times here and there depending on luck with tainted elementals. The problem is by then she grows so much that I'm getting hit for 50-60K hits. Dead pretty much instantly. If it could be done by a warrior or other classes, you'd have to get the first 4 tainteds off the bat or really try to keep the regular elementals in check (that gets kind of hard after awhile). Might come back to her later.

I don't have a problem living 6-7 minutes into the fight (until the lightning does 10K damage + 10K or so resisted), it's just having the tainted guys pop near you that's important.

How were you able to kill Morogrim Tidewalker with the debuff that reduces your attack speed by 400%? He hits for 3k, and you shouldn't be able to use Bloodthirst often enough to heal through it. EDIT: I just saw you used prot gear, I guess that explains it. Must have taken an hour though.

I'm also still waiting on the guy to tell me how he beat Rage Winterchill, since he chain-freezes you and then puts a corruption under you that ticks for 20k/sec.

A few pieces of WotLK Frost resist help to combat the iceblock very nicely. Flask of resist would help as well, or the elixers.
And of course Second Wind for when you do get hit by the blocks

Just because you cannot think of a working strategy, does not mean that it is impossible.
People thought that solo 25 Patchwerk was impossible until a rogue figured out a way.

Tried Hyjal tonight. While resisting the frost damage isn't too bad, I'm stuck at how to deal with Rage's Winterchill's D&D. Even if I HL out of it, it'll still tick for 2-3 times and I'm at half health. I feel like I simply can't heal fast enough for the times that he casts it even with bandages.

Other than that, skipping Vashj for now but the good news is I finally got to phase 4 of Kael'thas . Well, then Kael nuked me with a 50K fireball. Going for my other T11 weapon this week though and feeling really good about it being doable. Just need to give it more tries.

Razorgore is actually soloable if you're specced into blood craze as a prot warrior. You sit there taking damage from the adds, and the healing you do will aggro the adds. Note that this is very hard, but also very possible (youtube it if you don't believe). the Twins in aq40 are also soloable with the right amount of gear now. C'thun can be done by dragging another boss into the room. Never tried this on a warrior, so I don't guess it counts unless someone says they have.. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I've seen it done on youtube. Viscidus is doable with frost oil or something else on lower Ilvl weapons ( I think ). Lady Vashj can be done by rogues and deathknights..highly doubt a warrior can, but the videos of this being done involved rocket boots / sprints. (I know you said do not list other classes, but I have not tried Lady Vashj as a warrior..nor do I have engineering, so I figured I would list it to get other peoples opinions)

I tried lady vashj,2 tries total,once as fury once as prot,prot was considerably harder to reach p3 cause you cant kill stuff fast enough(the big adds and naga adds),but survivability is greater obviously but still she will have way more stacks in p3 as prot,as fury it was easier to reach p3(she had 60 stacks or so) but she still destroyed me rly fast.

Cant seem to get Leotheras down, even with prismatic elixir, and Drums of Forgotten Kings, he kills me eveytime he goes into his demon phase.
Might try to wear some FR gear, or going to try this as prot.

Tried Razorgore, its doable, had only about 4 eggs left, then the cat decided it would be fun to jump on my keyboard :P
