    Solo Yogg-Saron

    Hey guys/gals,

    I'll keep it simple. I've finally done something I thought was impossible myself. I kissed a ... wait, wrong line.

    After countless hours of wiping I finally managed to solo Yogg-Saron, which was believed to be one of those "unsoloable" bosses up to now. This boss drove me insane and I spent multiple hours getting the strategy right, and since he's a quite emblematic boss I thought I'd let you guys know. This is a damn Old God.

    As a sidenote, I could nearly solo my way up to Yogg, the only obstacle is Thorim (for pretty obvious reasons). I didn't do Hodir either but I believe he's doable (worst case scenario = requires more DPS gear). You can find the videos of tons of solo kills on my youtube channel in case you're interested, I did a few ICC bosses as well.

    (I really don't want credit stolen like in the past with Illidan and KT, hence why I'm posting it here on MMO -for once!-. No idea if it fits in General rather than R&D, w/e)



    Warning: If anyone dares play the Raegwyn vs. OP card, I'll pull out my infraction hammer. Both have put equal time and effort into their own boss soloings, so neither should be seen in a higher light. They're both pretty epic. - Elyaan.

    has anyone yet tried to solo kil'jaeden?

    and i'm wondering... can kel'thuzad use his frost blast (the tombs) on his target?

    Kel'Thuzad cannot use Frost Blast on tanks. I did it on Beta and he's been solo'd by tons of people around the world on live, AFAIK.
    Kil'Jaeden was solo'd by a Warlock, DKs obviously did it too, but some other unexpected class did it : a rogue solo'd kil'jaeden. (:
