What to do in wow at the moment

I'm mostly leveling alts on different servers. The questing from 1-60 is a blast but once you hit Outlands things start to wind down quite a bit. Getting over that hump takes a lot of effort for me but If I get burnt out with it I switch to another character and start the process anew.

What's the point of playing if you don't pvp or raid? So many "log-in, do boring stuff, log-out" people here.
And I don't understand, what changed compared to WotLK for you? Still the same dailies and soloing old content, but at lvl 85 there's more old content to solo.

For me, raids at late evening/pvp at daytime(if I have time/want to play).

I basically just run random heroic on my main if I have the ugh to do it. Otherwise I play arena to get conquest points cap, go ALOT of BG's for the fun of it with some mates, and raid 2-3 times a week.

I used to do Tol Barad dailys just for the mount, which I got like first on my server... Now I can't even go to Tol Barad Penninsula without puking, lol.

Lets be honest theres lots of things to do which is why wow is great

-Level each class to 85
-Norm/pvp/rp realms
-Become AH whore and try hit gold cap
-Hardcore raiding
-hardcore pvp'ing bg's/arena's
-complete each and every achievement

You could just log in to socialise. Maybe take a break from wow and try another mmo.

To answer what i do in spare time is lvl alts and mainly play online poker on laptop whilst i wait for dungeons/raids.

log in, do fishing/cooking. Was farming for MGT choco mount and Anzu mount, but both dropped and crossed those off my list, got two time-lost, so crossed that off my list. I do a heroic once in a while but usually get too peeved at all the fail in pugs and stop doing them for days. It's kinda sad that all of the goals I set out for myself are done and there really isnt much incentive to log in much, I farm herbs from time to time for gold, but there isnt much to buy and I refuse to spend 40k on some silly epic.

Was raiding since classic wow, at the start of Cata I just decided I was done with the raiding. Its all the same and I am just bored of it.

Why do I still pay for it? Well, 12 bucks a month is nothing and I still enjoy talking to friends and my gf plays as well.. so I hang in there.

Sub Rogue-JC daily(as often as possible, i miss out every now and then), Arena on me and my arena partners scheduled time. Main toon.
Resto druid-Try to get some dungeons done, raid occasionaly, do some arena when my arena partners and I can get together.
Mage-Herb a bit, do JC daily, do some AB's or WSG for Justicar rep. Try to cap out conquest points with some arena games.
Hunter-Mine a bit.

I don't play a lot. maybe 10 hours over a week.

Camping Aeonaxx for ~10-16 hours a day while playing minecraft. :>
Dailys (only jewelcrafting and cooking - yay, no more tol barad)
Raids every evening (if not current content with my main then with twinks or old content)
Archaeology to get the remaining tol'vir rares.

^-- This. Too many people seem to have the "lol rp" mentality over that aspect of the game. I hopped on an RP server after the raiding content got stale and I'm not much of a pvper, and I've had tons of fun and made lots of friends in the process.
Just try to be observant and ask other roleplayers for tips. They're usually more than happy to help newcomers.

On non raid nights I literally log on, do my TB dailies, do my heroic daily on my Paladin alt, and log off because there is nothing to do outside of raids. WotLK had "fun" reps without any real rewards other than mounts and pets like the Oracles and Frenzyheart, daily quests with a rare chance at a mount like the polar bear from those female Vrykul's in Storm's Peak and other random assorted shit to do.

It's my main complaint about Cataclysm. A week after hitting 85 if you don't raid(or at least aren't raiding that night) or like to mindlessly grind PvP there is nothing to do.
