Question My Computer not detecting 80GB OCZ Vertex2 SSD. :(

    Any idea why?
I went into the device options in the Device Manager for this and clicked populate, so it's now showing in the properties in there that it has 80gb of free space... but it's not appearing on the "My Computer" page. This is the first time I've ever added an additional data drive to my computer. I'm using an old E5200 processor with old mobo. Using a 3.0gb/s sata cord to plug it into the mobo.
Don't tell me that restarting will fix the problem. x_x

D'oh, go to your disk management and format it. Did you even try to google the problem before asking?

Actually had a friend on WoW end up walking me through the steps. Was the first time I ever used the disk management stuff so I think that was my best option.

Is this Windows 7? I don't think previous versions will align the partitions on your SSD automatically.
