It does show how tough we are, yet in a sad desperate way..

I must say when looking outside at all the fires and devastation... in combination with the TV channels, it falls heavy on my heart to see the nation so destroyed, I guess now I understand how my grandfather saw the land after the war.

You guys really didn't deserve any of this.
    You're missing volcanoes.
Yup, real sad. Worst thing is that you can't do shit about it.. just sit back and watch while tens of thousands of people lose their homes, their families and so on. =/

Well with the last large earthquake 304 years ago Mt Fuji errupted 49 days later, this was an earthquake about 8.5 on the scale..... Basicly the people are scared of it happening again, which would be disastrous to the entire Tokyo Metropolis area.

Wait, so you are in one of the zones that got hit after all?
If so, how do you have interwebz and electricity?

Also, indeed, I always had great respect for the japanese discipline and sense of honor.
You guys truly inspired me when I saw your country, even tho you also produce like 90% of the world's weirdest stuff, every single year
Not to mention your women are both beautiful and a sucker for us european men

Best of luck to all of you.

It is a very sad day for Japan's history, I only hope they will be able to recover as fast as possible from these terrible news.
I cannot express how frustrated and sad I am for this succession of disasters in Japan.
The nerfs were merely a setback, and you knew that.

Wait, can we have a source that the nuclear plant exploded?

An hour ago, Reuters was saying it could potentially melt down, but they still had some time left.

All the national media is showing, is a completely devastated province, here and there survivors, Nihonmatsushi hasn't been mentioned though.

Truely devastating for everyone even relatively affected.
Seen some people say they are worrying about friends, girlfriends, family etc within the thread -
Some may have heard, but google used a 'search' service for the recent NZ earthquake and have done the same for the Japan one.

    google.com/crisisresponse/japanquake2011.html

Contains alot of information too, hope it can be of help.

I understand that. I mean the epicentre was shallow and close to mainland... Not good in laymans terms. It's just so worrying to think off and god I love her. Just hoping that she's ok right now.
