Hit rating question

So I (As a boomkin) have 1742 hit rating. Perfect 17% with a 0.00 chance to miss. So how the heck am I missing multiple times tonight during Chimaeron? It was hell trying to time casts for 4pc when it seemed like I missed a shot on the end several times.

Any ideas?

After being hit by the caustic slime you get a debuff that reduces your chance to hit (by 25% or 50%, cannot remember which). Guessing this is the issue you were having.

Perhaps. This has been farm status for forever though and it is odd that I'm just now noticing. Although it is probably due to having to pay too much attention because of 4pc
