    [A] Mythical Honour 10man 5/13H

    [A] Mythical Honour (EU-Arathor) 10man 5/13

We already have 10 people for a raiding group, but to keep up the pressure and also to have oppertunity to choose the best squard for some HC raiding, we decided to open recruitment.

    We are currently recruting:
    - 1 Shaman able to play resto/dps
    - Opened for all exceptional players (all classes)

Please use the application form at Mythical Honour Site

    Recruitment information

Mythical Honour is an old hardcore guild formed soon after the release of World of Warcraft. During its glorious past MH was well known for its outstandings PVE accomplishments reaching our glorious peak getting a 23rd world kill on Al'ar in Tempest Keep. With the advent of Cataclysm, we have decided to return to the game. We will hopefully redeem its prestige and just as a Phoenix the guild will rise from its ashes. Please keep in mind that our main focus will be towards progress of end game content in PvE and achieving high level battleground ranking for PvP section

Mythical Honour is always looking to add players to its ranks. One of the primary things we look for in a guild member is the ability to follow instructions and communicate well. Reading this post, following the instructions and producing a well written application will increase your chances of being accepted. In contrast if you ignore this post and produce a badly written application with insufficient information then you will destroy any chance you had.

    Raid times :

Mythical Honour runs raids on a regular basis:

Monday (from 20:00 until 23:30 CET)

Tuesday (from 20:00 until 23:30 CET)

Wednesday (from 20:00 until 23:30 CET)

Thursday (from 20:00 until 23:30 CET)

Friday (from 20:00 until 23:30 CET)

Sunday (from 20:00 until 23:30 CET).

Usually we try to finish raids by 23:30 CET but things can and do take longer sometimes. In exceptional circumstances we may raid on different days but this is published in advance and is the exception rather than the rule. Outside of these times many guild members run unofficial raids in order to progress towards our collective goals. Being online regularly helps facilitate this and strengthens the guild as a whole. Simply logging on for official raids is not enough; we expect people to enjoy playing WoW and to want to log on every day.

We definitely expect you to attend at least 4 out of 6 raids!

    About Raids

As a pretty focused and determinated guild to reach our goals we expect all players to be prepared. This basically means knowing and infos grabbing thro the web in order to stand in front of a boss having at least an idea on what to do, players are also expected to have the right gear setup, the right spec and whatelse could be necessary as Flask, Enchants, Gems, Glyphs and so on.

    Character requirements

As part of your application you will be required to provide a URL to your armory profile. We want players who maximize their character, and have the best enchants, gems and professions available to them. The better your character development and the more you can show a clear objective with your choices the greater the likelihood of us taking you seriously.

When posting your application know that we will check your armory profile and give feedback based on what we see. Please make sure that you have your preferred raiding talent spec / glyphs showing (either as main or off spec). Alternatively you can provide that information from a site like Wowhead, showing your preferred raiding spec. If you use several specs then provide several links!

    Skills, experience and attitude

You should know your main character inside out and be proactive in researching the latest theorycrafting for it. We provide a fertile atmosphere for discussing and refining cutting edge strategies but we are not interested in people that need to be told how to play.

You should know all of the zones, dungeons, raids and bosses in the game - either through personal experience or as a result of reading strategies, watching videos and taking part in discussions about them. You should know how your character works on raids and in a general sense what will be expected of you. This is not a guild for people who are still learning the game.

Raiding requires people to listen and act. This doesn't sound very difficult but you would be surprised at how many people can't do this. The raid leaders will need your undivided attention for the duration of the raid and will expect you to respond to what they say.

Mythical Honour is a good guild to be part of. With that said sometimes things go wrong and people naturally get upset. This means if you screw up then expect to be told about it, especially if you just messed up everyones raid that evening. Learn from this and move on. We don't want drama queens who leave us at the slightest hint of criticism. We are all passionate about the guild and the game so things can get heated at times. If you don't think you would be able to cope with this then don't bother applying.

    PvE and PvP

Mythical Honour in actually a Pve guild as main focus, still, with the growing importance of Pvp and the high requirements of skills to get accomplishments in that field we are going to built up a PVP group for Cataclysm which will stand on his own, but at the same time we'll always have our doors open to exceptionall pvpers letting them provide help in official Pve raids.

With that said we do encourage and help members to participate in PvP where this does not interfere with our PvE objectives. Furthermore the guild has a large pool of motivated, intelligent and well equipped characters from which people have in the past been able to form very successful PvP groups when they are so inclined.

    Hardware and connection

The nature of many raids means that there will be a large number of characters in close proximity to one another fighting dozens of mobs and casting many spells. Every single member has to be able to perform under those conditions. This means your hardware has to be up to the job of displaying all of this and allowing you to function and react at the same time. Furthermore your connection needs to be reliable enough that you won't be disconnecting, lagging badly or needing to reconnect. You must be able to do your job reliably on raids or you aren't any good to us.

    Voice communication

We use Teamspeak for communication during raids. It is absolutely required that you have the Teamspeak client installed and working so you can join our dedicated server. All guild members must be able to listen to Teamspeak during a raid and it is highly recommended that you have a working microphone so you can speak over it as well. This is both an organisational and social thing for us; if you are unable to use voice comms for some reason then you should not apply. Please confirm on your application that you are able to use Teamspeak and state whether or not you have a microphone for speaking over it.
