Graphic Card Connection

Hello,

I have a simple question about the connectivity of my graphic card.

this is my graphic card and it has ( as you can see ) 2x6pin spots


this is a cable that my card came with ( 2 of them i got )


and my Psu has 2-3 pci-e 6-8pin connectors

so my question is.. should i connect my graphic card to my psu with the psu cables or with the ones that came with my graphics card? because i kinda have the feeling that those 2 that came with my card are ment to be used only if my psu doesnt have pci-e cables.

Yes they are. Just use the ones from the PSU.

They will be just fine!

EDIT: And less wires t worry about, cable tie them in suitables places; maximum air flow!

Yes they are the cables, use the ones on your power supply, no point adding more peripherals that aren't needed.

For the record, those are included for older power supplies or power supplies that still use the Molex power connectors as opposed to the 6+2 pin, 6 pin, or 8 pin power connectors. They're essentially adapters. You wouldn't be adding peripherals, just extending cables.
