Has anybody else noticed that when running fullscreen DX11 games (e.g. when running WoW in DX11 mode) it takes a long time (3-5 seconds) to alt tab from fullscreen mode to the desktop. In DX9 mode it's pretty much instant. Is this a driver issue? Catalyst 11.2, 5970, Win7 64.
No it's like that for everyone who uses DX11 and tries to alt tab. Easy workaround is to run WoW in windowed (fullscreen) mode. Looks the same, a little more GPU power needed but not much, and you get instant alt tab.
