    Cho'Gall 10m Normal Setup

    Hi Guys,
Was Interested on some Input on what setup is best for Cho'gall 10m?
We currently were Running with 2 Tanks (DK,Pally or Warrior),Healers(2 Pallys and Shaman),1-2MDPS(Rogue,DK),3 RPDS(Mage,Warlock,Hunter)
We have got him to 12% but struggle!I have heard it cant be done with 3 Healers needs 2 Healers?and possibly 1 Tank and 1 DPS to get Debuff?
Please let me know your tactics and elaborate!
Also what set ups to use,Tanks,Healers,DPS?

It is quite possible with just 1 tank as long as your designated DPS knows exactly when to move away from Cho'Gall and still be in taunt distance so he doesn't get hit but gets the debuff.

10m normal, we use 3 healers and 2 tanks. No funky DPS taunting, nothing fancy.

    Where are you failing specifically?

3 heals and 2 tanks is very possible, but it takes smart dps. If the add is dying fast, a DPS stays on Chogall and only helps kill slimes on 4rd round. Heal set up and tank set up is very easy. No AOE tanking or block vs. avoid issues. Save BL for last phase, make sure all dps are killing tentacles in last phase and no one is getting debuffed to quickly if at all.

Hard to tell what'd be going wrong without more details and maybe a log, but it usually means people are letting their corruption get too high on P1. The AoE on P2 does more damage the more corruption you have, in addiction to increasing it on every tick. It's basically a soft enrage, it takes less than a minute for it to start ticking high enough to become unhealable.

If someone enters P2 at 50 corruption, you know you're screwed.

Just drop a tank and that should help you alot. Just have a melee taunt at range. There is no reason or need for 2 tanks in this fight as everything can be done by a melee and normal tank.

We kill him with 2 tanks and 3 healers every week... interrupt those eye stalks as you kill them and watch those corruption meters. Half the P2 burndown is won before P2 starts by staying out of the junk in phase 1.

A death at 12% means either:

    a) people getting too much corruption before P2
    b) people totally failing at killing adds or avoiding puking on other people

We tried 2 tanks and 3 healers first, but we found 2 tanks and 2 healers a lot easier. I think we got Cho'gall to around 8% with 3 healers though, so it definately is doable that way too. I'd say that what matters for deciding what you use is the ability to deal with the adds. Our ability to deal with small adds is relatively bad (moonkin, ele, shadow priest, 2x destro lock. With 3 healers either shadow priest or moonkin healing) so it's better to push through it fast, but if you have an awesome hunter-mage group, you can probably just breeze through it with more healers anyway.
