    Having a problem using Youtube...

Just recently, many of the videos on Youtube won't load for me. There is a play button in the center, but then the video just starts loading and never actually starts. I've updated Adove Flash Player, but that doesn't seem to have fixed anything.

I installed Opera and tried it, but it says I have to update Flash Player (which is already up to date). I went through the installation process again, to no avail. Still says it must be updated :/

Downloaded them, tried on Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera, videos are still not loading. This is quite the debacle.

Completely remove your old Flash player, then reinstall the most updated version.
Do you have any popup blocking software?

Firewall blocking flash perhaps ? If you have a firewall, try disabling it and install again

BTW, is this your home PC, or your work PC ? Lots of workplaces block flash in their firewalls so the employees cant play on say Facebook

It's my home PC I'm using. My computer has 4 different accounts on it (parents, me, my brother) and the videos load on my brother's account, but not mine. Quite the quandry.

    go to youtube.com

    watch a video

right click the video and click "take speed test"

this will take you to a page with some graphs, below them is a link "Show Test Video" click it

when the video starts playing right click the video and choose "settings"

    uncheck "Enable hardware acceleration"

    click close

    watch some videos

if that still doesn't work you probably have an issue with UDP protocol somewhere in your network, if it's just your username, it's probably something within your windows network settings

I tried the speed test things, unfortunately that didn't fix it.
