no, i believe the problem with the matrix is the second and third movie
(http://xkcd.com/566/)
I'm a bit angry now because I thought opening this thread would lead into a very perplexing argument and discussion regarding the Matrix.
If every person made a thread about a funny comic they saw, this forum would be full of "LOOK AT THIS" threads.
It wasn't just self-indulgence he betrayed them for, but self-delusion. Cypher wanted the good life, yes, but his main purpose for turning on Morpheus and company was to be able to forget the Matrix even existed and go back to living in an ignorance-is-bliss existence.
I see that there's a reason I've never heard of that first comic. It's terrible. XKCD was much better.
They should've just kept the first movie stand alone.
I dunno, I kinda like rewatching the sequels occasionally. I do think they are a bit too long-winded and a little over the top in action sequences, but they are still pretty damn entertaining. I love Matrix movies for allowing pretty much all kinds of crazy action shit happen on screen without breaking suspension of disbelief.
Robot masters say: We have been compromised...
Obey the Robot Masters/Computer thingies!!!
