Ignore this, valiona will ALWAYS cast 3 blackouts after the first cycle. Only the first cycle has 2 blackouts.

Having our druid beeing feral dps, and then taunt if he really have to when our maintank goes down.

That's what we do as well. We have a feral and he just goes bear and taunts in case it takes a couple seconds for the tank to get back up. Most of the time its not even needed but it does help. You don't lose aggro on the boss when you go to the twilight realm but being down there while tanking can add up on the tank, plus one of the 5 stack transitions is right near when they switch so we've found that having a feral go bear and taunt keeps everything going more smoothly. If you played perfectly you wouldn't even need it but we all know that things don't always work out perfectly, and if your tank has trouble getting back up from the shadow realm one time or hits an orb and dies then having that option to tank for a bit while the tank gets back or is brezzed.

OP: As others have mentioned your dps needs to step it up a bit. Is everyone dodging the twilight blasts (or whatever they are called) in the Valiona phase? Obviously you can't while stacked for blackout, but otherwise they are completely avoidable, at least for ranged, and people should be moving away when they are targeted. If you are struggling with 3 blackouts in the 2nd Valiona phase you may consider saving personal CDs for then (iceblock, bubble, etc) so that you may be able to avoid one then although you'd still need to be ready for 3 since you can't control that.

we have a sub rogue doin it to, hes really good but sometimes he'll fall behind in killing adds cause of the voids during theralion. we have a boomkin jump down at that point, starfall/dot everything come back, and its ezpz.

that fight is an attention check. if you can pay attention you can kill the boss.

It is doable - when ported the tank will still have aggro but be unhealable, they can use saves and/or some melee dps can taunt and use save for a few swings. It doesn't make a huge difference using 1 tank though, unless your dps is bad and you're getting a 3rd valiona phase, in which case an extra dps should let you kill it before she lands again.

20% yesterday... Something no one mentioned that I discover later this raid night is that if you stack a ranged or healer in the middle to soak twilight meteorites, its really dangerous and near unhealable, the ticks are just too painful. So we tried it with the tank, the off tank and the chosen twilight meteorite person to stack on the tank and boom, the fight became easy. Our subtlety rogue is doing it perfectly now so its not even an issue. This boss is going down on our next raid day, tanks to all.

BTW, the 3rd blackout can be soaked away from the middle where Theralion is landing to avoid a fabulous flames circle right in the middle, but it is definitely the most dangerous spell you can't dodge.

We killed this last night, found it a hell of a lot easier using 1 tank and 4 healers than going with 2 tanks and 3 healers. Dps pretty much stays the same switching a tank for healer and it's fine provided the tank is quick in getting out. We used a paladin tank(me) because every 5minutes I could bubble a 4stack of the debuff and not have to enter, meaning 2 times during the fight.

One thing we noticed was what has been previously mentioned, around 30-35% we'd have about 9-12 adds in the twilight realm even with a rogue in there almost all the time, at the start, you can rotate, having your destro lock going in with the dazzling, then have elemental shaman going in with tank next time round, rotate it like that when they don't have a debuff and you'll be laughing, provided they can kill 3+ adds each per time in there, raid damage should never be a problem.
