Yeah, I've completely given up trying to post directly to the forums on my iPhone 4. I have to wait a good 5-10 seconds for each word I type to appear, and God help me if I have to try and go back and fix a messed up letter in said word. I didn't even think about using Copy/Paste, I usually just get on my iPad/Mac Book Pro (assuming I'm not around my desktop).
