    white/black worth buying a GB for ?

Hey, I've been looking for a fairly good RPG for a while now, even going back and playing through ME1 again (but man do i hate the search mission in the tank...) and I was wondering if the investment would be worth it for black or white. I just finished scraping the vomit off my tongue from Eternal Sonata. The only current Gen System I own is a 360. And I'm not too interested in paying another monthly fee for Rift. Any other possible suggestions would be welcomed with open arms.

Yes its worth buying a Nintendo DS for but i recomend you to buy a Nintendo DS Lite instead of the new ones becos it can play Gameboy Advance games aswell the new once cannot and i would guess the older pokemon games is also something to put your teeth into.

Also if you like ME1 try Dragons Age Origins i quite like it ofc theres Fallout and Oblivion aswell.

Black/white is a fun game, it is worth getting a DS for, not best if you wait cause you might miss out on special events etc.

    sorry for any grammar/spelling problems.

Thanks for the advice. I'll take it into consideration. And yes I do own Origins and Oblivion....not exactly my favourite games to be honest. Any other suggestions ?

    Uhh, I wouldn't suggest it.
However if you plan on getting a DS (lite) pick up these games

    Golden Sun (GBA game)
Golden Sun: the lost age (GBA game)
Golden Sun Dark Dawn (DS game)

The reason for a DS lite because it also plays GBA games. Other than that if you like RPG's the Final Fantasy games are not bad on DS.
A lot of people also like Dragon Quest, but I have never played it.

If you really like pokemon and want one for the DS I would suggest Heartgold.

It's not worth getting a DS if you plan on playing it from home, that's what emulators are for. However, if you plan on say.. playing something while on the train or something, then yes, buy a DS, otherwise, just stick to an emulator.

Wasn't aware there were emulators for DS. Doesn't it have a touch touch screen? How would that work?

The mouse acts as a stylus, and you can just touch the bottom half of the screen with the mouse.

For pokemon games the touch screen usually only works as a menu. There are quite a few games that don't use the touch screen at all and only the real gimmicky ones use it often.

Regardless, a DS lite is a worthy investment for anyone who has at least a few hours a week to game on the go.

The original DS can do that as well, if the DS you're talking about is the same DS as my sister has it has a camera and it's a lot brighter than the original.
My sig was stolen, if you find it please contact me. Thanks.

Hmm interesting, can't find a white/black rom though. I guess it's too fresh on the market ?

I would really recommend fallout 3, with the add-ons of course and what about ME2? It was pretty good.

You have to go throw a bunch of pain in the@** patching. Better just to play heartgold or soul silver imo.

I'd buy both. Hell, my husband is so forlorn because I'm playing White without him, that we're probably going to get him a DSLite and Black for him so he can play too. X3

I wouldn't emulate, to be honest, I Emu'd platinum/crystal and was so unsatisfied with the experience...because it's hard on your eyes to play on your computer (the graphics are really designed for an itty-bitty screen) that I broke down and got a used DS just to play Soul Silver.

Absolutely, on release day I bought the promotional bundle that included: an exclusive DSi, one of the games (Black for me), and a carrying case... Haven't yet regretted it.

Black and White pretty much put the final nails in the coffin for me with Pokemon. The Pokemon look god awful and I refused to use most of them because of that. The new villains are hardly villains at all.

Anyways, traded both games in already and I will not be picking up whatever the next catastrophe titled "Pokemon" is released.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D needs to hurry it's ass up and come out so I have a reason to buy a 3DS.

Do you mean Pokémon Black and White? I tried playing it and I caught this dog with a giant moustache, I also have a red crocodile, an animated suit of armor and a couple of other weird Pokémon, if you like Pokémon then yes it's worth buying the Nintendo DS.
