I love the smell of manufactured products, such as the smell that comes from new video games.

New car smell, gasoline, the smell right before it rains and fresh cut grass are all wonderful smells to me.


I can't stand the smell of natto breath... If you have ever been in Japan, you know what the stuff is, and it is nasty.

Hated: Leave a milkshake bottle with only a tiny dribble in the bottom, re-seal the lid and leave it somewhere warm for a few weeks, then sniff that. Seriously.

Worst: Lost a nalgene bottle in my car and it had a tiny bit of whey protein drink left... found and opened it after a week or so and nearly died of the smell... who knew whey protein had such a disagreeable odor of putrification?

Favourite smells: The fur of a cat that's been outside in the cold. Sunwarmed skin. Opening a new packet of coffee. A lit match. Hay. Garages.

Worst smells: Sick. Old men (the sour sweat type). McDonald's. Tequila.
