Glass half full or Glass half empty?

    Which one are you?

I'm a glass half full kinda guy

If you're filling the glass, it's half full.
If you're pouring / drinking from it, it's half empty.

    *grin*

I'll take a full glass and drink it entirely. Don't drink half of your drink thinking it will make something better.

Depends on the glass. Lets say you have a full glass, and you drink half of it, then I'll go 'Its still half full you nob!'. But, you have an empty glass and fill it up, then 'Its still half empty you nob!'.

Half full glass would be when you are asking for a waitress for a half glass and if you have been drinking from a full glass to half it would be a half empty =P

If the glass was in the forest and no one was there to see it, would it be half anything? 0o

    It's neither.

The glass is twice as large as it needs to be.

yep a lot of people doesn't seem to know the analogy here.

This has nothing to do with what drink is in the glass.

You might also say that the half empty are depressed people while half full are not.

I think I'm more of an half full type of guy but I also get realistic where I just say "the glass is half."

To me it depends on your age, if you're 12 then it's half full, if you're in your 50's then it's half empty. Half full means you still got time to fill it up, half empty means your time is running out, that's the way I see it anyway.
