How do I fix this script error?

I bought Windows 7 yesterday and upgraded it from Vista to Windows 7 and sadly I had to reinstall all my programs since it wiped it all out. When I open up Skype I get this annoying script error box, and I have no idea how to get rid of it. I tried to hit Yes and No but the box will still keep popping up, I also tried to reinstall Skype but, im still getting this error. I tried to look for a solution on google but, no luck. So if anyone has any idea on how to fix this I would appreciate it and thanks!

Well, I'm guessing that Skype is showing stuff it thinks you might want to see (ads, news, etc.) using the default browser engine. Two things you can try are:
    - Java update on your maching
    - deactivating script errors (on IE9: Tools -> options -> advanced -> "skriptfehler anzeigen" (should be something like "show script errors" in English))

You can also try to deactivate script debugging in your browser.

    Use another browser.

using another browser might work if you actually browsed the URL.. but seriously, how many ppl do that? if its being accessed by the skype application, youre going to need to change your default browser..

He's just trying to make an account IIRC. He can do so via another browser.

My guess would be update javascript, then download google chrome and set it as default and never look back.
