About us

The guild was created at the launch of Wrath of the Lich King, people were handpicked and discussions about every player were made before we decided to include them in the guild. The average age is around 23, with some people around the 30-mark and above. Even though our primary focus lies within PvE and progression, many of us have a huge interest in PvP and see our raiding schedule to fit perfectly in doing both arena and progressing PvE wise.
If you are looking for a hardcore PvE guild with 6 or 7 raids a week, you should not bother applying. We're focusing on quality over quantity. Considering most of our raiding members have jobs to take care of, and some have family. We realize some doesn't have any time to waste. You won't skip family dinner for world firsts here. But you won't continuously wipe on a raid boss you're supposed to have farmed for two months either. In our raids we don't want to waste any time. Your time is just as precious as ours and we're expecting you to perform at your very best, even if we're clearing trash or if we're trying a new boss.

Tryout In risen

Before we give you a tryout spot in our guild you are to raid with us at least a couple of times. Should we accept you as a tryout we're expecting high activity and unless you have very good reasons, you should attend every raid possible, be prepared and relax - let your performance speak for you. Having said that does not mean you're not supposed to communicate both written and verbal. You should know your class from the inside and out, and how to maximize it with enchants, gems and talents. If you are the type of player who never fails the Heigan dance, who's always performing best dps/healing/tanking-wise of your class, can move from fire, does not keyboard turn and is a competitive person all in all. You are what we're looking for.

This guild is an active guild, altho we only raid three days a week we're looking to clear every raid content that comes in our way and we aim to clear it as fast as possible. What we expect of you is that you can manage to keep an attendance above 80%. We're using a vote system within the guild to determine whether or not you get accepted as a part of our raiding force. Three weeks into your trial period this vote should be over and if you get 70% or more Yes-votes. You're in. So make sure to remind the current members to vote for you. Remember - you only get one chance to make a good first impression. And your application is just that.

• 3 days a week

What we expect from you:

• 80% attendance
• Understand Norwegian, Swedish and Danish
• High-end PvE experience, preferably from several expansions
• Full knowledge of your class
• Skill and the ability to learn
• Bring consumables to every raid
• Stable internet connection
• You need to have Ventrilo 2.1
• Understand that loot is a tool to get us somewhere, not something you should cause drama over
