Ranged DPS classes.

Mages have been topping the meters for a while, and they are getting buffed even more. Mages are a blast to level and they are really good at pvp.

I play an elemental shaman and my dps is competitive and it definately will scale well now. However, play what you like. If you don't care for one class's rotation, try another. Most ranged dps classes are in a good place but if you don't like a certain class, you won't perform well enough to top any meters.

If I didn't have a shaman as my main, I'd play mage though. Hunters are also quite strong.

Currently as a warlock me and my fellow guild locks r destroying the dps meters, and we r loving the need for demo aoe in certain fights like magmaw and heroic maloriak. Its been nice to have destro as top dps till 4.1 when affy goes apeshit on bosses. IMO bring locks to your raids. They make good things happen.
