    Looking at getting a monitor

So I am looking at upgrading my current monitor with

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Acer+-+S...ci_sku=1804306

    Currently I am running
    http://www.lg.com/us/computer-produc...-W2043T-PF.jsp

What I am looking for in a monitor is 23-25", Must be full hd, would prefer a response time below 5ms. If I go to best buy (ug i know) they will give me $50 for my old monitor. Any suggestions? Is the best buy one worth it?
    My System
    Ivy Bridge 3570k OC 4.0
    ASRock Z77 Extreme4
    Saphire 290
    Mushkin Enhanced Blackline Frostbyte DDR3 1600 8GB

As much as I hate BestBuy, that isn't an awful deal. Go ahead and get that one. >.> Also, what's wrong with your current monitor? Looks 100% okay to me. >.>

It is, just looking for something bigger and something to take full advantage of my GPU cards.

Use both of them. Returning your old monitor isn't worth it.

Preeeety much. If you're adamant on getting a new monitor, get the Asus. However, your current one is just as good. (From what I saw on their website. LG has an uncanny ability to hide horrific details somewhere in fine print on their websites.)

Don't be afraid to go for the ones that are expenssive. Every little coin counts. Monitors have always been a bit of a hard purchase though, since they can vary so much.
Look for reviews on the web or other peoples personal opinions about certain monitors. Hopefully someone will have something to say from experience with the product.

Heres the acers details. It looks like a really good monitor for the price, guess I'm looking for the catch.

Erm? The Acer he has linked is one of the best monitors out there... The only reason I'd ever pay more is if I had half a brain and couldn't color calibrate my monitor. (Then I'd get the Asus Pro-Color or whatever.)

I have a 24" with that resolution already, was just curious since I haven't seen more than one or two advertised on sites like Best Buy, Tiger, etc in a while. I'm thinking most people are just all about 1080p, so they gave up and forced that one.

28 inch here, it looks like the 2560 monitors are coming down in price though, saw some below 2000, one at 1200 I think, some day I will have one <_<

Me too. I am looking for another one to go with Dual Monitors. But I think the monitors are so damn good, no one wants to sell it lol. But yeah, I love my 23' Acer.

OP: I would save that money, or invest into something to upgrade your PC maybe? Your monitor looks fine to me. 20 to a 23, imo, you wont see much.

EDIT: Lol, my monitor has...300 reviews on a Best Buy site. That has to amount to something.
