With as big of a role as everyone here thinks the refs play, they should be a shoe-in for the Conn Smythe

Rangers have to do much more than that to fix their problems.

Obviously but that's at least 1 step closer to doing what needs to be done. I think they have a solid defensive core but they're just missing some offensive zone structure especially on the PP. Might have seen the last of Tortorella these playoffs, he's a good coach but sometimes you just need to shake things up at that level to get the most out of certain players.

Did a Bruins player get pushed into the net, get punched in the face by Lundqvist, and then get called for a tripping call on the upcoming faceoff during a game 7? :P

Wow, speaking of refs. They literally just called back a goal from L.A. because they blew the whistle way too quickly. It never stopped and went through Neimi but they called it no goal. You guys can complain all you want but that just there was one of the only calls I've seen all playoffs, fuck it all season, that actually resulting in a team not getting a score on the board. A missed call is whatever, you don't know if your team would have scored or not on the PP or if they would have given up a PK goal against. What just happened in the SJ vs L.A. game is something one could legitly complain about. What the rest of you usually cry about is such small time shit it's unreal. 98% of the time when someone cries about a reffing misque, it wasn't on a scoring play and the refs didn't take a goal away or give a goal away.

the refs have played a large role in each of the last 3 games, it would be nice to watch a game where they just do their jobs properly
that said, the Kings played pretty terrible, and they had no luck at all, they couldn't get a break unless it was the stick in the hands of the point man snapping on a shot for the umpteenth time
