True, but what you are saying right now equals to declaring a player a legitimate target for injury. If the league follows your demands then every time the DoPS fails to hand out a suspension for an on-ice incident resulting in injury they would be giving the other players permission to injure the original culprit. I mean they can't punish the second guy if they don't punish the first, right, especially if everyone agrees they blew the original call?
The only history that should have any influence on the severity of a suspension and / or fine is the one from the perpetrator, NOT from the victim. Otherwise the league would turn very, very, VERY ugly, very soon.
With Rennadrel's line of thinking we will have another Bertuzzi-Moore incident again.
Man these Kings fans at Staples are knowledgeable. Dude trips our guy, gets a penalty. FUCKIN BOOOOOOOOOO REF!
What a fucking game, Gio determination to end this shitty streak! Fuck yeah boys, Gaudreau hat trick too! GG Kings

Let's see how the last night before the Christmas break is.
Well we lost, although with a back up goalie and the second night of a back to back it was expected. Even so still had a chance late.
Oilers lost 5-1 to Arizona which included a 2g/2a game from Sam Ganger and 26 saves from Dubnyk. Salt in the wound, 20 losses in their last 21 games. Are they purposely tanking at this point?
I knew this would happen as soon as I saw Hutton starting. Still, Peks desperately needed a break, the poor guy is on pace for 70+ games this season. That's concerning.
Sadly, no. Players and coaches don't really tank, no one is gonna lie down and fail so some kid can have your job next season. Not even the front office is tanking, they are icing the best roster they have (some poor decisions regarding Draisaitl notwithstanding). I think at this point it's just general incompetence at hockey, from the top level in the organization downwards.
Couple close ones tonight at WJHC I was hoping Denmark would upset Russia.
Devils going with a coaching "team" for now rather than a single head coach. Lou will be down behind the benches with Scott Stevens and Adam Oates.
Oates totally worked out well in Washington!
Johnny Hockey 2 goals as the Oilers lose in the first 10 mins of the game vs the Flames. I sincerely hope they don't fuck up Eichel or McDavid at this point.
