Wings/Blues tonight, that should be a good watch for about an hour until the revenge game starts.

Completely unrelated but I just realized that last week Shawn Thornton got destroyed in a fight with John Scott. Bruins fans like to think their team is the most physical in the NHL so it's nice to see someone serve them a piece of humble pie.

Preds/Kings, not really who I wanted to see in the barn for our first game back home. We usually don't play very well against them even when they are doing poorly =/

I think to celebrate yet another contract on the Islanders payroll for a player that won't show up, they should have a sellout game where no fans show up

Loses his job? I think ESPN actually promotes people for fucking with the NHL just to spite them for taking a couple extra bucks from NBC and tanking the long term growth of the league.

I wonder if the NHL is going to do anything about this sort of trade. The Islanders acquired a contract for a guy who isn't in the league just to prevent themselves from dropping below the cap floor if they make even a minor move. This seems like the kind of shit the CBA shouldn't allow.

There's a difference between being a physical team and tossing a goon with no hockey skills on the fourth line just to pick a fight. I'm not saying Thronton is a great player or anything, he's a fourth liner for a reason. But he actually scores occasionally, and helps set the tone through his physical play. Scott has no skills other than fighting, he has one goal in 146 games...

A retarded penalty for both Jets and Leafs. Good job refs, way to not let players just play.

Get one goalie who is constantly injured, one who doesn't want to play for your team and one who doesn't want to play this year at all.
    What do you get?
