Well the Hawks and the Blues are really the only good teams you have faced thus far. 2-1-1. Jury is still out on Minnesota.

Just watching the Lightning/Devils game now, HORRIBLE officiating. Getting sick of the refs throwing their weight around this seasons with unsportsmanlike penalties.

Now coaches and players can't complain so if a NHL ref is bad (most are but a few are decent) it doesn't matter. Well thats all I have to say.

i know, i was giving you a lil crap.

Well personally I'm not that excited. It's still really early (even though it's a shortened season) but more importantly the regular season probably means less in hockey than any other sport. 3 of the past 4 P Trophy winners have lost in the first round. Detroit has the two highest point totals ever for P Trophy winners (131 and 124) and neither made it to the Cup Finals (one lost in the first round).

The Hawks are playing well now (PP still needs to improve, we were 0-7 yesterday in 5 on 4 PPs - granted three of those chances Q gave to the 3rd and 4th liners since it was a blowout late) but playing well in February doesn't mean diddly come April/May. Most importantly CC and/or Emery (at least one) needs to be playing at least as good as they are now to have a shot.
