Chara deserves it more than any of them to be honest. You're up 1 goal, you have 45 seconds left to play, your goalie just saved the puck; You can have any player on the ice, just about anyone would take Chara. Never been a fan of this defensive award becoming an award for the defensive player with the most points.

No matter which team wins the series, the Pens or Isles will get routed by a team with superior defense and goaltending. I'd take any one of the other 6 teams to beat either of those two teams in the next round with ease. I don't give a shit how many goals the Pens and Isles can score, they both can't play defense and their goalies can't stop beach balls.

I just started watching the Pens/Isles game and I would love to face either of these teams, their work in the corners is so sloppy, I can just imagine Penner or Richards going to the boards, coming away with the puck and centering it to Carter over and over again

although if the refs stay on vacation like they seem to be in this game it'd be trouble, since they're letting Dmen bearhug forwards along the boards without calls

I don't think so. Habs/Sens and Leafs/Bruins will likely wear each other out, a lot, physically compared to Penguins/Islanders.
