note to Hawks players always keep your sticks on the ice that is what Bruins do best and is a major fundamental in good defensive hockey.

What the Hawks lines NEED to be tomorrow.

    Bickell - Toews - Kane

    Sharp - Handzus - Hossa

    Saad - Shaw - Stalberg

    Kruger - Bolland - Frolik

It's not a coincidence Hawks offensively is looking as bad as the Pens.

id hardly say they are looking that bad, they put up 5 in 3 games.
the pens put up 2 in 4 games.
in other news, the wings ahl team just won the calder cup (ahl stanley).

I'm not even going to bite.

Yeah Bicks/Toews/Kane worked so well against the Kings and then Q just out-thought himself.

i'll give him partial credit. has the hawks offense been its usual self? no. but then again, it didnt look dominant against detroit or la either, and they have at least looked better then pittsburgh.

The point is that The Bicks/Toews/Kane line was a huge threat vs LA Bicks had 3 goals Kane had 4 and Q has yet to put them together in this series. Just as the Bicks/Shaw/Stalberg line was always the difference in the games where both top 2 lines were canceling each other out, havent been together since round 1. Q doesnt want both Kane and Toews matched up against Chara/Seids which I get, but Kane and Toews compliment each other so well I think they can out match and nothing else is sparking so whats to lose...

Welcome to the life of a Rangers fan under Torts lol While I understand changing lines can be a spark to ignite an offense, doing it too much is terrible and allows for no cohesion of your players.

As well educated fans as you and Stommped seem to be, why haven't you acknowledged the fact that regular season offense is simply not equal to playoff offense?

They always say, you build winning teams from the crease out. Obviously prolific offenses during the regular season are going to slow down when the going gets tough and defenses actually start playing playoff hockey.

How is it a surprise that the Bs have slowed the Hawks down? Its what they do best.

Hybrid icing will be tested in pre-season and may be implemented for 2013-2014 season. Per Mathieu Schneider.

oh i know that, but then again, the Hawks offense looked dominant against the Wild, but i guess it was just the wild.
