    I really hope the Wings manage to net Weiss today. It would be pretty great not to have to trade for him in NHL 14 like I do every year.

    Why would you want him on your team? He is injury prone and won't be much of an upgrade unless he is your #2 C, he is better then Filpula for sure, but I'd take more durable players then him, or make a bid for Statsny, because honestly, Colorado has 4 C's and they are all top 6 players in MacKinnon, Duchene, O'Reilly and Statsny.

    Sounds like Alfie's deal is going to be 1 year $3.5 million, with bonus incentives to bring that up to $5 million which can be deferred onto next year's cap. I can close my eyes and swallow that pill. Cleary is being pursued by Dallas and Detroit. I don't think I have ever seen so many Detroit fans actively cheering for the Stars to this extent.

    Yep, Alfie's people let Boston know they are out. Sounds like he is a Wing for sure.

    Emery expected to sign a 1 year deal in Philly over a bigger deal from the Isles.
