We are Caelestis, a 25-man progression-focused guild on the Alliance side of the West Coast server Proudmoore. Our guild is built on the principle that beating hardmode encounters on a competitive schedule is possible while attending to a job, school, marriage, kids, workout schedule, pets, or whatever kind of non-WoW life our members value. We are selective in our membership, but don't discriminate based on race, class, age, gender or sexual preference.
We raid three nights a week (T/W/Su) for three hours (9-12pst) and distribute loot through an EPGP system.
We have maintained a competitive ranking on our highly-progressed server since early WOTLK www(dot)wowprogress(dot)com/guild/us/proudmoore/Caelestis/rating.tier11_25) with fewer hours than our fellow progression-oriented guilds by valuing the following characteristics in our members:
-Dedication to researching your class and role and keeping your character up to date and maximally effective with the most effective spec, gear choices, gems, enchants, and whatever appropriate mods make your job easier.
-A solid knowledge of raid mechanics and continued efforts to read up on specific boss fights and strategies.
-Raid awareness, an ability to follow instructions, and a desire to improve your performance based on constructive criticism from other humans and non-human sources like WoL.
-Maturity, a team-focused attitude, and a willingness to communicate in non-loltxtspeak.
Our success--and fun!--depends on the collective skill, effort, and dedication of our members, each of whom is expected to take the responsibility for their own performance in our joint goal to kill big mean imaginary things before (mostly) everyone else does.
