Metroid Prime. Everything in that game fitted perfectly together. The music in Magmoor Caverns (which is obviously a magma zone) is heavy, making you feel kinda heated up. Chozo Ruins have this mystic feel to it, Phazon Mines has a silent theme, but suddenly explodes, just like the zone itself. The best one however is easily Phendrana Drifts (an icy valley). The music is relaxing, soothing and just overall awesome, I have stopped many times, just to hear it.

final fantasy VII was the first thing that came to mind, also the megaman 2 soundtrack was awesome!

Ok now this one is kind of cheating since its a licensed song but the reason I post it is I cant find exactly the version that I really liked from Brutal Legend. It played in the mines near the start of the game where you need to free the Head Bangers and it was this song except not the way playing how I posted it. It would only repeat certain parts of the song during the area which were the parts I liked but since I cant find how it was played in the game il just post the whole song:

The Silkworm Theme had so much energy that we started to dance to it lol
