So what mmo will you next play?

i think starwars would be cool i also have been waiting for it but i cant help but think to myself its going to be like Lego universe let me explain.

everyone loved Lego or did at some time if your a big Lego fan you would probably give the game ago but after a while the game will seam crap and the novelty will ware off and you will just go back to playing with your real bricks.

my point is everyone i know who likes starwars prefer to meet up and watch the movies and stuff. i cant honestly see the starwars fans settling for sitting down playing the mmo instead of going out. ofc i hope i am wrong the game does look nice.

also for above poster that is including hype about game. you can create hype about a game before it is out. the hype alone is getting it above wow people have just clearly been voting wow down the list like 5/10 or something as you can see by this pole and i am sure others even on a wow forum like this its failing to get votes. its not dead just dieing slowley im sure it will still be around for years with mostly the old hardcore players but eventually more and more of them will leave till servers are combined and stuff (or when titan is out and blizzard practically brain wash people to switching over to playing that). just gotta get over it and move on really wow has had a good run and was and still is a good game people just have grown old of it.

somehow I don't think that list is a very accurate list...considering no other MMO has yet to reach WoWs current sub number. I mean that list ranks city of villains and city of heroes above WoW...I have tried city of heroes. there is nothing good about that game. that list goes of 'hype' it even says so right there, so no wonder GW2 is the top since so many people are looking forward to it, including my self.

the only MMO i've seen worth trying since I started WoW is GW2, I'll definitley be buying it as soon as I can.

I'm personally starting to get into Vindictus. I'll try and give GW2 beta a go if I get in. If not, I probably won't play it. Rift's beta was great but I realized its just a darker less-cartoony WoW.

But I will buy GW2 for sure, no monthly fee is a big big plus. And the original GW is a good game. ;3

By the way, you said if I quit wow (and presumably stop going on this site too) I wouldn't hear anything about WoW, which is untrue in a sense but also true. I woudn't hear any news about WoW, however my local gaming stores will continue to have it on display in vast numbers, compare that to rift and GW2 (GW2 being a game I'm actually looking forward too)

I went around to a few EB-Games a few days ago to check out rift, one store didn't even stock it, the other two had it tucked away in a small corner and only had 1-3 copies of it on display - no posters or anything at all to do with rift were ever displayed. GW2 I have not heard about at all except on these forums.

I dont like what iv seen from combat in starwars, looks really dull.

GW2 seems promissing. but i dont like how when you "die" you lay down waiting for someone to...get you up and running again. Among other stuff, like not having dedicated healers and not having gazillions of abilities ^^. i love the healer role :] tho id love if blizzard gave all healers some decent offensive capability. killing a rogue takes like 15min on my shaman.

Guess ill be playing WoW for a while. The game IS solid, theres no denying it.
And dont talk about rift. looked promissing. but the quests are horrid, pvp was imba and felt awkward, and rifting becomes boring after a while (who would have guessed!).

GW2, SW:TOR and Tera(beta if i ever get in)

TOR looks good, but too similar to wow in terms of gameplay, which is what put me off rift. Tera looks like it has awesome combat, and is a bit more next-gen than TOR, but I hope they "westernize" is better than Aion, or it will fail in the US/EU.

My social life might end with gw2 releasing though

I like the look of Tera and GW2 but if Final Fantasy 14 is "fixed" soon I may give it another go.
