Starting a Build on a Computer, thoughts?

So I am looking to build a new computer over the summer. Main purposes would be WOW and some programming work, nothing crazy. My budget is $750 but that can go a bit up if it needs too. I already have a 22" LG Monitor so I don't need a new one unless I can get one with HDMI for cheap.

Here is what I am looking at for now:

Now I am sure there are better deals out there, so if you have any suggestions on which parts to swap out, feel free to let me know! The only part I am not sure about at all is the video card as I don't know what I should get. Any and all feedback is welcome!

Even with the MIR, that graphics card is still overpriced. Get a GTX 460 768mb for roughly the same price (after MIR) or a Radeon 6850 for ~$150 after MIR.

Thermaltake does not make the best quality PSUs, I would much rather pay an extra $10-20 and get an Antec True Power or Corsair TX PSU. Or less actually, if you want to go with the Corsair CX PSU:

i built one for myself under your budget and it does what you want well. Granted i haven't done any 25mans with it but standing around in Stormwind was good. I wish i had saved the build somewhere so i could pull it up quickly for you.

So, I have built myself a wishlist on NewEgg, let me know what you guys think. This is what I would love to build, with monitor and SSD included. If you would change something out, tell me for what and why you would. Thanks!

We can't look at personal wish lists.

You should get this GFX card instead of the GTX 550 TI , a 5850 at 140$ its almost a steal. Yea I know its out of stock ATM but maybe you can find it on an other online site, it should cost about the same thing. Sapphire Xtreme 5850, make sure you look for this because its a new 5850 model, theres a reason why its so cheap, you cant overclock it and they drastically reduced the material needed to make one (almost 2inch less longer than a reference 5850).

They sold all of them in less than a week.

That card looks awesome! Thanks for the tip, will watch for it to come in stock, not looking to buy for about another month or so, so it gives me some time!

Everything looks good except the graphics card you picked out (GTX 465). 5850 would be a better choice for less $$$ but if you aren't lucky and quick enough to find one of those, get a 6950. They are around $200 and are significantly faster than both the GTX 465 and 5850.

Alright, so I changed a few things to my build (removed the SSD and changed the GFX), how does it all look? I am at $950 with the monitor which is right in my budget.

This is my first build but I have friends who have built their own so I can get their help if need be, but I don't know if I need anything extra; cables, thermal compound or anything of the sort?
