You should look at a 750W PSU if you want to overclock your setup runs about 565 or so. pretty close to 600 without being OC'ed

It runs at 2.0. The CPU handles the PCI-Express functions, so the board has little to do with what its actually ran at. The CPU supports and runs at 2.0. You'll also notice that Gigabytes site says "All PCI-E Slots conform to PCI-E 2.0 standards."

Around 400-450W before overclocking, nowhere close to 565. There's no reason for 750W if you pick up quality brand such as Antec or Corsair.

I'm getting the SS-600ET ATX ( 600W ) Power supply, if anyone thinks it's a bad choice then tell me.
Now I just need to settle on a Motherboard.

How on earth do you get that "about 565"?
The 2500k runs at maximum 130-150W with onboard graphics disabled.
The GTX 570 pulls a peak of 190W.
And the rest of the power usage in that system is peanuts.
So that's about 340W anyway. A good 650W will do with all the headroom he'll ever need in that build, he can even add another GTX 570 for some crazy SLI.

    ASUS P8P67
    Gigabyte P67A-UD3/UD4-B3
    MSI P67A-GD65

    All decent boards.

Actually the 2500K is around 65-75w(Stock Clocks) without the ondie graphics and the GTX 570 peaks at 219 watts according to Nvidia.

    http://www.nvidia.com/object/product...tx-570-us.html

Still though, way lower than his number

That 95w TDP Intel lists includes the HD 3000 GPU that is on the die of the CPU.

At 5GHz, according to Gigabyte's VRM Program I hit 121 Watts on my 2600K lol.
