I received a day one ORAS demo code. I am a chosen one.
That twitter stuff has been creepy as hell from the get go
Much more creative use of social networking tools for an RPG than say ::cough:: devs making snarky remarks to players that have questions :3

I'm not a Twitter person at all. I guess if you're into that sort of thing it's fun. O_o

It's not very funny even if you are into twitter. :P
Somewhat cheesy and Anet do too many of them. It's not very clever. Rather mild, ho-ho-ho type humor.
Snarky comments are at least clever. That's the whole meaning of the idiom; snide remark.
The overall marketing for GW2 is... problematic. There are a couple of MMO-C mods that worked with Anet in the past that can tell you a thing or two about 'em in less open forums.
it is...
also found the account from the consortium-guy Blingg, which clearly states "parody account":
- - - Updated - - -Citizens! This is the personal twitter account of Provisional Junior Executive Blingg of the Consortium. This is a parody account.
I also love how Anet uses this way to tease us upcoming content:
I really like the Twitter accounts. It's like roleplaying with the NPCs in game and I assume it's a lot of fun for the devs,
but I can understand that it's not everyones kind of 'Fun'.
Where else can you talk to the big bad Dragon that has just awakened and threatens to scourge the land?
Sing like no one is listening - Love like you've never been hurt
Dance like no one is watching - Masturbate like no one else is on the bus

Actually a few MMOs did this before GW2. Where they had NPCs "tweet" one another in character. I think it was FF14, TSW and Rift being the earliest. The latter having the actal dragons front a twitter account. Such that raiders could #hammerkneel or @Akylois with the same degree of cleverness as GW2's NPCs. Which is to say those other games had twitter accounts just as lame and unfunny to me as GW2.
I think there was a Diablo one too, iirc. It was super fucking lame.
What's the fastest way to level up now? I'm level 20, just used the scroll.
depends on what resources you have available
if you have access to all resources, the fastest way to level is crafting
