Off-topic:
Maybe not, but it is a good game. I've been ignoring it since my brother told me about it years ago because I had played Oblivion and Morrowind. But this time I just sort of said "meh" and waited until 11-11-11 to buy it. And I absolutely love it. They fixed most of the general problems that Oblivion had, and have some rich stories/Lore to go along with the quests.
I won't really compare Skyrim to Guild Wars 2, other than the fact that dragons can show up at any given time (i.e. like Dynamic Events) and they're a fun pain in the ass to kill, and worth it.
Also, you can be a werewolf early on in the game. Werewolf vs dragon, fighting tooth and claw, on the side of a mountain, to the death. Very fun and epic.
Hey, hey, hey! Stop showing off your skyrims!

checked out google trends earlier just for the fun of it, pretty surprising to see that the term "Guild Wars" is searched for more in Germany,Sweden, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland and Canada than in the U.S.
I knew GW as a franchise is very popular in Germany, but the difference in popularity in Europe and the U.S. seems to be immense
(to put things in perspective, Belgium has roughly 11 million citizens
Now of course google trends is not flawless, but it does show the overall ... trends

Monk, I need a monk!!!
I was digging around in the wiki for a good wallpaper when I came across this:
They're called Fleshreaver Lords and I'm not sure what their deal is. They look like flying versions of the monsters from Amnesia. How horrifying.
EDIT: Description from the wiki:
Badass flying zombie families confirmed for GW2The fleshreavers are a species that were once raised by Rragar Maneater over two and a half centuries ago. They are born as skeletal creatures whose growth and survival is assured by the parents layering the muscles and flesh of the dead over them. When they are strong enough, they begin performing this task for themselves, cannibalizing the corpses of their victims to add to their growing form.
Thought to be destroyed, some survived and have prospered since. The only known location of where the fleshreavers live is in the Charr Homelands and the Shiverpeak Mountains.

I just want the damn mesmer announced, honestly they are almost going into closed beta and still nothing and it is making me angry...I want a class that can torture physically(necro) and also one to torture mentally (mesmer) it fulfills all my needs...with a little bit of engy to satisfy my inner need for mindless destruction and some guardian for penance and warrior to release some rage....on second thought i'll just play all the classes.
good game is good x3
To anyone who doesn't know.
Rragar Maneater is a Charr Boss from Guild Wars 1, he made the Fleshreavers. Fleshreaver ARE also in Guild Wars 1. source.
These look mighty badass!
Oh yeah.. Maneater was a Mesmer.
