Dynamic events/puzzles in a cave is what I thought of as well when I watched that, rather than something new/ANet forgot to mention. Probably as close as it will get with it being in the open world. With multiple groups in a single dungeon it would turn into raiding(I seem to recall reading somewhere that ANet wanted to avoid large numbers in a dungeon due to profession stacking for X skill, and that personal effort would have less impact), maybe if there was a limit of 3 groups per Explorable dungeon with each one being restricted to one of the pathways.

But what would be the point of going in with multiple groups if you are separated? If it is to race the other groups for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd(with useful/shiny items awarded) it will be abused by 1-5 players bribing the other group(s), which would diminish the value of the rewards as anyone with enough gems/gold can buy it when that was not necessarily intended.

That was the underwater area that Totalbiscuit had shown where his group got crushed by that boss at the end and there were flamethrowers on the walls. The Font of Rhaand is no cave, it really is an open world dungeon.

Here is the Yogscast video of that. Spoiler warning for those who want to find/complete it on their own. http://youtu.be/EZSn_jKA1pE?t=6m28s

That may be, but personally I find the choice of one's ornaments speaks volumes about the person. Particularly tattoos. I find that more important than how someone's chest, arms, legs and clothes look like.

Bad tattoos probably say more about a person than good ones... but that aside as we might be straying a bit too far, I wonder how much customization will be available for player housing. It would be nice to make your home look a bit more personal than a canned setup.

Also, I wonder if humans of different backgrounds will have different housings. And if a "street rat" background will give you a cardboard box in an alley.

Absolutely, I'm hoping mobs have rare loot which you can display in your personal house. So I can decorate my entire house with Asura corpses..

    No?

    Heresy!

On a serious note though, I hope to be able to decorate with things like pieces of elite DE bosses. Not over-the-top things like heads, but wouldn't it be great to have a mounted scale of a dragon?

Very much my thinking. I'd love trophies. Nothing grotesque ofc. I think it was in Oblivion, with the castle addon I believe, that you could get trophies or certain monsters. That was pretty awesome.
Ofc...as an asura I rly rly want golem butlers.

And I'm not rising to ur bait Blood

    Celtic arm esque?

That does look pretty nice...big, investment, though.

    Darn,

But really.. I'm thinking something like this.

Minotaurs; Small chance of being able to loot their horns or pelt to use as a drinking horn or carpet.

Jotun; Display of a Jotun Sword

    Grawl; Grawl Mask

Any big dragon; Tooth/Scale or miniature scale of the dragon.

Other than that minor detail (which I'm sure was just a mistype on your part), I agree fully.

    U forgot charr skulls

    But yh...that's what I'm thinking.
Also, the way the crafting system works i'd love to see some truly unique crafted pieces from mobs and bosses. Think red dragon armor in Baldur's gate 2 for the modern age...but more intricate and from many different places requiring lots of unique materials. Very old skool rpg. If there's something like that for the top end crafting...I will have such a nerdasm.

Toaster; Small chance of having a toaster in your living room making fresh toast to start mornings with a smile.

Nah, it was quite specialist...specific design of a specific group of polynesian tribes...

The idea is that the ink shows who you are...in your heart. The dude would only work after midnight, rang a finger-bell every hour to cleanse the space...lots of interviews before to make sure we were compatible and so we could work together...very eccentric. Very highly recommended, so he wasn't a phoney.

Expensive...+1K - but...y'know, I love body-art...and wanted to get a piece that was me - it took a few years to find the guy...

I've had it a fair while now...I'd have pissed the 1K up the wall, or equivalent...but instead I invested...I can truly say, when times seem hard - I have a reminder of who I am and where I've been...
